About Global Artificial Intelligence Association

GAIA is a platform for Open Innovation that uses Collective Creativity - that is, combining human creativity with the computing power of AI to solve global and local problems. GAIA is a combination of a multidisciplinary and international Think Tank (Virtual Florence) with collective knowledge - the Platform for Open Science (Invisible College) associating scientific institutes, research groups and enthusiasts from various fields and countries. The Foundation’s goal is to explore the ethical challenges and opportunities associated with AI tools in order to develop the definition and algorithms of Compassionate AI through tools that use human creativity and the computing power of AI known as Collective Creativity.
